What we do with what you send us

This page explains contact inquiries and the services used to deliver and protect this website.

Draft, pending review. This page describes accurately how the site works today, but it has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. If you need a commitment you can rely on before you send us anything, ask for one in your first message and we will put it in writing.

Your visit

We do not use Google Analytics or advertising trackers on this website. There are no analytics preferences to manage. Your appearance preference is stored in your browser. Services needed to deliver the website, protect forms from spam, and process inquiries remain in use.

What we collect

The contact form asks for your name, email address, a message and an optional service topic. You may use a personal email address and do not need to identify your company to start a conversation.

You may write from a personal address. You do not have to name the business, or say that a sale is what you are weighing, to start a conversation.

Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the contact form from automated submissions. It may process browser and connection information to perform that check. The site also stores your appearance preference in your browser.

Where it goes and who reads it

Blue Aries Ventures uses Vercel to deliver the website and Supabase to store inquiries, account information and requested documents. Authorized staff and specialists can access records needed for their assigned work. Infrastructure providers process data to operate these services.

Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect public forms. Where email delivery is enabled, Resend processes the information needed to deliver the message. We do not sell your information or share it for another company's marketing.

Use the contact form for an initial conversation. Send requested sensitive documents through your invited client workspace, rather than including them in a public inquiry.

How long we keep it

We review inactive inquiries after 12 months and temporary client-upload copies within 90 days after an engagement closes. These are review checkpoints, not automatic deletion deadlines. We remove information that is no longer needed after checking contractual, recordkeeping, dispute and legal-hold requirements.

Engagement records follow the retention schedule agreed for that work. Relevant records may need to be kept longer. Backup copies follow the hosting provider's backup lifecycle and may not disappear immediately when an active record is deleted.

What you can ask us to do

You can request access, correction or deletion by contacting daniel@blueariesventures.com. We verify the requester before releasing or changing account information. If some information must be retained, we explain the applicable limitation rather than promising immediate deletion of every copy.

Security, stated honestly

The website and portal use HTTPS. Portal access is invitation-only and requires two-factor authentication for clients and staff. Client document access is limited to assigned requests and the client's own uploaded files. Download authorizations are recorded; this is not a record of every use of a file after download.

Upload invitations expire after 48 hours. We restrict accepted file types and sizes, but automated antivirus scanning is not currently provided. No system can guarantee that an uploaded file is safe or that a security incident will never happen.

If you lose access to your password or authenticator, contact us through your established contact channel. Recovery requires identity verification and renewed two-factor setup. We never ask you to send us your password or authenticator codes.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. We do not keep an archive of previous versions, so if the terms of a past engagement matter to you, keep your own copy.
