Define your role, the handover and leadership responsibilities before closing. The transition period reflects the needs of the business and both parties.
Retaining equity
We pursue majority or full acquisitions. Retaining equity is optional. In a majority acquisition, you may retain or roll over equity where appropriate. A full acquisition transfers all ownership. Terms are agreed for each transaction.
Financing the acquisition
Financing may include debt alongside equity. The structure depends on the business, the transaction and the terms agreed.

A few practical questions.
What should I share in the first inquiry?
A brief description of your business, its industry, approximate annual revenue and what you are considering is enough to start. You do not need to send financial statements, customer lists or other sensitive documents with your first inquiry.
How is confidential information handled?
The first conversation can focus on a general overview. Before exchanging sensitive business information, we agree on confidentiality arrangements and what is needed for the review.
How long does an acquisition take?
Timing depends on the business, information available, financing and the agreed transaction. We discuss the expected steps and timing as the opportunity develops rather than promise a fixed closing date.
Do I need to become an advisory client first?
No. You can approach us directly about an acquisition. Advisory is a standalone service and does not require a sale. If an advisory relationship leads to acquisition discussions, our buyer role and interests are made explicit.
Tell us what you’re considering.
Share a brief overview of your business and your goals. We review your inquiry to assess potential fit, then follow up to discuss questions and next steps. Financial documents can wait until confidentiality arrangements are in place.
